I love to laugh & it doesn't take much to make me. I make up words. I am a ketchupaholic (not in a gross way, but I just use lots of it.)        28 minutes ago.

I always eat the bottom of a muffin or cupcake first because I love the tops. You can win my heart with a good card trick. I'm extremely non-confrontational.            52 minutes ago.

ISFJ. I love driving through a valley of snow covered trees. I am not very good at cooking so simple, quick recipes are my favorite.            2 hours ago.

My 4 favorite foods are shirmp, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, sour watermelon gummies and apples, but not all together. :)              5 hours ago.

Hi there.  :)

My name is Mallory and I am a recent college graduate from the University of Portland where I studied Global Business and a wee bit of Spanish. I accidentally spend way too much time in blogland ooohhing and aaahhing over creativity.

Who and where I am today is because of my...
Family : I am the oldest sister in a very small family. My mom and dad are incredible, hard working people and the best role models. My Grammy is the most loving person I know. I think my niece is the smartest, adorablest, sweetest and bestest eskimo kissing, three-year-old on the face of the earth. See pictures above.
Friends : I've always felt so blessed to have the friends I do. The three girls in the picture above are my best friends from college. We've lived together in various combinations for about 4 years, but since graduation we've moved on to the next chapter of our lives. I'm extremely proud of them and miss them dearly.
Pacific Northwest : Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I cannot imagine living anywhere else. I love the green-ness of it all. I love the outdoors and within one hour driving distance, I can get to the beach, the mountains, or the forest. I absolutely love the rain and how we have great, comfortable summers. The picture above is from when I went camping at Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States, just over 1900 feet down into a volcanic crater.
Traveling : Since I was young, I can remember wanting to travel and see the world. I have been extremely fortunate enough to be able to see a handful of places that have changed how I view the world and my place in it. There is not much that is more exhilarating to me than going to a new place, talking with local people, eating local cuisine and learning a bit of history. In the picture above, I am ducking under a fallen tree among coffee plants in Nicaragua.
Adventuring : This is sort of a catch all, tying in very closely with the Pacific NW and Traveling. I love to experience new things that are "bucket list" items for many people, including myself. I need to write my list down, but things such as cliff jumping (nothing huge because I can be a scaredy cat), skydiving or climbing the South Sister, a mountain in central Oregon (10,047 feet) as seen in the picture above, are what this part of me entails. My best friend is often there to push me to test my limits. I love living life to it's fullest because you really never know when it will end.
And of course, I wouldn't be here at all without God. I try to live my life in a way that reflects his love for me, but thank him for loving me despite my shortcomings. He is  my rock. How I strive to live is by my favorite bible verse, Micah 6:8 and can be summed up in 6 words: do justice, love mercy, walk humbly.
